The Trinity

- Igbo tradition carries its own trinity: Chukwu — Agwu (the Holy Spirit, female principle) — and the creative Word/Atu. Agwu is "an inseparable part of God's traditional trinity"; "God acts through Agwu and Agwu acts through Dibia" (paraphrase of p.105). Alutu's record confirming Agwu as female is endorsed; Idemmili is the Daughter of Chukwu (whose wife is Ana). [notes, p.145]
