- Mmuo na mmadu na-azu afia, mana ofeke amaro — "Spirits and humans trade/communicate constantly, but the uninitiated does not know." [T1 opens ch.1 with this; T2 uses it as the Step 4 epigraph.]

- [T2] Ala nro (the dreamscape) is the primary venue of spiritual experience: callings are received there (a deceased priest appearing to a chosen successor), prophecy and premonition arise there (deja vu = triggered recall of precognitive dreams), answers and inventions arrive there. Waking vision = ihu ohuu. Practice: dream journal → personal dream dictionary → lucid work. Dream-recall decays with age as Chi na Eke fall out of sync.
