Akaraka — destiny

- [T2 — 13 Steps] Akaraka ("hand-in-hand") — destiny written in the palms; the palm as a map with many routes to one destination. Destiny can be renegotiated; it cannot be stolen, only surrendered (e.g., to social pressure); others can share or accelerate it, or distract from it. Two certainties: death (Onwu si, 'Cheta kwam mgbe nile' — Death says, "always remember me"), and that everything between birth and death is in one's hands.
