The second creation theory — deliberate creation

- Some Igbo societies held that the universe was a deliberate act of Chukwu, coming into being with a mystical sound — UUUU...Wàda — from which Uwa (universe/world) is an onomatopoeia; the universe "blazed forth" like first sunlight at daybreak.

- The deliberate placing of the heavenly bodies is dramatized in the ancient children's game Itu Aku Olisa (Itu Aku O'sa) — "throwing Olisa's kernels" — played with seeds of Ube Olisa/Ube Okpoko (God's pear). Usually 7 kernels; the highest set Umeh ever saw was 64, matching the 64 root words of Afa's sixteen seeds. Nobody ever completes all 64 — only Chukwu could.

- Ube Olisa was the first tree God allowed on the water-covered earth; Okpoko (the hornbill) was the first creature sent to scout the earth's habitability, and buried its dead parents on its own head — origin of its top-heavy crest. [notes, p.139]

- Both theories agree: everything has a Chi linking it to Chukwu; the greetings Om (male) and Om̀ (female) date from the beginning — the same "Om" known in India. The mouth forms a circle then closes to unity — symbolic of the vast universe folding into one total owner, Eze Onwekodo (the King who owns everything).
