Tier 3Anyi, the nwa diokpaala (first son) to Nnanyi.
He is close to his 13th rain, when his initiation into manhood will be celebrated at a ceremony organised by the Ekpe Secret Society.
Nwa Diokpaala
Nwa + Di + Okpa + Ala \= Child + Master + Gatherer + Land \= Son of Master of Property or Landlord
A man's diokapala is expected to manage his estate after his death, seeing to the needs of all the wives and surviving children. It is a heavy responsibility given to the first son.
